This image was the first shot of the day, and it was to test my exposure. Luckily it was right on!! I love it when I can say “Well we can all go home now! I got it! That was gorgeous!!”.

We met down on the Shelby Street Bridge and got some really fun pictures. They love ice cream……a bonding point for me too……so we went to Mike’s. Why the heck not!!!!

Last week I met Jenifer and Wesley out at Cheekwood to do their engagement session. Had a blast with them and can’t wait until May 22nd!!!

Last Thursday I met Katy and David on the Vanderbilt campus to do their engagement session. We did the pictures there because it’s a pretty place, and well yes they went there. I was ready to hear all these stories. I was also excited to see the special spots where they spent hours studying while they gazed into each others eyes. I love getting the scoop. Every story is different and fun. It’s been a long winter of down time and I’m ready for new material. Goodness, my last blog entry was forever ago. I’m bored! Give me something!
We did the first round of pictures then we went for a walk around campus to see what we could find. I decided to ask about places that they hung out, since they were not opening the subject themselves. Inquiring minds wanted to know!!! Come to find out they both went to Vandy but never knew each other while they were there. COME ON!!!
We ended up having a great session and I can’t wait for their wedding. What a great couple. They giggle A LOT!! That makes me smile.
p.s. I know you’re not supposed to add to blogs once they are posted. However, David has assured better stories on the wedding day since they actually met at the church. Hilarious!

I met with Leslie and John at the park to do their engagement session last Friday. We couldn’t have picked a prettier day, and man this couple is right on!!! Totally Sweet!! To make it even better they brought Derby the Dog. Derby would have assumed run around in circles rather than have her picture taken. I have suspicions that John felt the same way. Both were hams for the camera, but their energy was humorous. Leslie just smiled and was fully aware of what she had gotten herself into.
No seriously, Leslie and John are an amazing couple. Their pictures were amazing as well. I truly can’t wait to shoot their wedding this fall. Thanks Guys for being so fun and awesome.

LyMarie and Clint were married on April 18th at Christ Cathedral downtown, and the reception was at the University Club. Everything went very smoothly and everyone had a blast. Helen Morisette was the coordinator for the event and I’m assuming that’s one reason everything was perfect.

Nesrin and Scott’s engagement session was done downtown near and on the Shelby Street Bridge. I love that area so much, and shooting there comes very easily. Aren’t they beautiful!!!!!
We actually did the shoot the week of Thanksgiving. Man it was cold!!!! They hung in there like champs. We also got a bunch of pictures without their coats. They looked like it was freakin’ May outside.

Lauren and Josh are getting married in October. She loves a kiss on the cheek more than anyone I’ve ever seen.

Tom asked Carisa to be his bride at Crockett Park. We did their engagement session in that same spot. Darn they’re cute. Their wedding is set for April 26th…….more of them to come!!!!!
