I love Cheekwood and have shot there many times over the past 10 years.   Jenn and Jack had their wedding in the Herb Garden on May 3rd.  I loved it!!  It was quiet and far away from all the other weddings.   Due to the circumstances of the day, we had to do all the pictures after the ceremony.  That was a challenge and something I don’t recommend on a regular basis.   However, one must roll with the punches.  I was able to get everything the couple asked for and the pictures are great.  Next we headed downtown to the Hilton.  They had a cocktail hour on the terrace that overlooks the city.  The actual reception was inside in one of the ballrooms.  That was really nice, but I hated to leave the terrace.  Towards the end of the evening the bride surprised the groom with a huge tower of Krispy Kreme Donuts.  I’ve never seen anyone be so excited about having a donut glazed mustache.

Carisa and Tom were married on April 26th at The Owen Chapel in Brentwood.  Very Cute Place!!!  If you’re looking for a church for a small wedding, this is a great option.  The grounds are beautiful, and the inside of the church is adorable.  They had an 11:00am ceremony with a sit down lunch to follow at Mere Bulles .  I love morning weddings.  They can be so classic.
